





















Mike is a Mercury Music Prize winning producer and mixing engineer, mostly known for being the co-founder of UK acid folk band Tunng. Releasing eight albums worldwide since 2005. Tunng are considered pioneers of the “Folktronica” genre, defining a sound that went on to inspire the Nu folk/Acid folk movement. He is also known as one half of LUMP, the electronic alt Psych collaboration with Laura Marling. They have released two albums so far.
He has co-written, produced and mixed many records for a wide range of artists who come to him for his sonic wonk! Including Speech Debelle's Mercury Music prize winning album "Speech Therapy", Jon Hopkins, Philippe Cohen Solal, Elizabeth Fraser, Guy Garvey, DuBlonde, Tinariwen, Songhoy Blues, Low Roar, Serafina Steer, Hannah Peel, Laura Marling, Dana Gavanski, Anna B Savage, Douglas Dare, Laura Cahen, William Doyle, Stornoway, Young Knives, Pictish Trail and more.
He now resides in the brilliantly odd seaside town of Margate in the UK where he has a recording studio called MESS (Mike’s Excellent Sound Space).
Alongside the on going production and mixing work, he released a solo album called ‘mike lindsay supershapes volume 1’. feat Anna B Savage and Robert Stillman out on Moshi Moshi records. Volume 2 is underway!
